OMFG I just saw Rent! LOVED IT!!! I can't understand why the critics didn't like it. But you know what, screw the critics. I never listen to them anyway. It was absolutely one of the most amazing musicals I've seen. Sure, I loved The Lion King and We Will Rock You (check out my blog pic), and I'm eagerly waiting for my chance to see Spamalot and Wicked. But this was so awesome!! You know how after The Passion of the Christ people just sat in their seats after the movie ended? That was how I felt. I tried to download the soundtrack as soon as I got home but my mother (see entry below) wouldn't let me. Muy triste.

I'd put a preview up but I think mindsay might have disabled HTML, and besides, that might interfere with Bon Jovi, the hawtness. <3 The music was so wonderful in it and I even cried a little, and Maggie cried really hard too. I'm not even a movie crier, and that's saying something!

Before you all go to see quite possibly one of the best musicals to ever appear on film, be warned that there are two same-sex couples in it and you should probably bring some tissues.
